Cookie Policy

The small amount of data we store on your device, and how to control it.

Your cookie preferences

Change this at any time. Your choice is stored on this device.

Strictly necessary

Session, security and login. The platform does not work without these.

Analytics

Aggregated, non-identifying usage data that helps us improve search and booking.

1. What we use

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We also use local storage, which works in a similar way. We keep this to the minimum needed to run the platform.

2. Strictly necessary

  • Session cookie: keeps you signed in and identifies your account securely. Without it you cannot log in, book or message. Signed and HTTP-only.
  • Security token: protects forms against cross-site request forgery.
  • These cannot be switched off, because the platform does not work without them.

3. Preferences

  • Language: remembers whether you are browsing in English or Spanish.
  • Theme: remembers whether you prefer light or dark mode.
  • Cookie choice: remembers the decision you made in the cookie banner, so we do not ask again.
  • These are stored on your device and are not shared with anyone.

4. Analytics

Optional. If you accept analytics, we record aggregated, non-identifying usage such as which categories are searched most and where users abandon the booking flow, so we can improve the product. If you decline, none of this is recorded and the platform keeps working exactly the same.

5. What we do not use

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels or third-party marketing trackers, and we do not sell any data collected through cookies.

6. Managing your choice

Use the preference panel on this page to accept or decline optional cookies at any time. You can also delete cookies and local storage from your browser settings; if you do, you will be signed out and your language and theme preferences will reset.

Template for review, not legal advice

This document was prepared as a working template for a US marketplace with intermediated payments. The percentages, time windows and tax statements are configurable defaults and must be reviewed by a licensed attorney in your state before the platform processes real payments.
